Kimberley Homes, Edmonton's SEVEN TIME Builder of the Year is looking for a self motivated and hardworking Site Superintendent to join our construction team immediately!

Successful candidate has new home construction experience, is organized, pays great attention to detail, takes direction well, is dedicated to excellent customer service, and is a team player. You report directly to the VP Home Building Experience to schedule and provide in field direct supervision of multi-family, single family, infill and acreage homes.

 

Responsibilites include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Site Supervision as instructed by the VP Home Building Experience
  • Inspects and oversees construction of homes to ensure procedures and materials comply with plans and specifications
  • Coordinate trades and suppliers through the entire building process
  • Maintain records for construction and inspection activities
  • Report progress at weekly meetings or as requested by the Construction Manager
  • Ensure quality control
  • Maintain clean, safe sites; adherence to our Caught Working Safe program
  • Implementation and monitoring of safe work practises as per OH&S Regulations
  • Conduct home owner orientation at time of possession and complete Certificate of Possession 
  • Completion of deficiencies recorded on Certificate of Possession
  • Responsible for site meetings with clients at various required stages of construction
  • Perform labor, as required on jobsites
  • Issue field purchase orders and review invoices prior to approval

 

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license, own transportation  and a clean driver's abstract (provided to Kimberley Homes upon request)
  • High school diploma (or equilavent)
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a site supervision role
  • General construction/carpentry experience for hands on work as required
  • Construction Safety Training System (CSTS-09) 
  • Residential Construction Site Manager Program or Certificate of Engineering Technologies (CET) is considered an asset, but is not required
